The Ask

 

Hendrick’s Gin was looking to capture hero imagery for the US launch of their new expression, “Midsummer Solstice”. It needed to feel cohesive with the whimsical brand world of the original Hendrick’s Gin while also embracing the new floral forward spirit.

Our Approach

 

Inspired by the glory of a midsummer day, FYM reimagined the Hendrick’s world with a new color palette. We wanted the cocktail scenes to feel aspirational but attainable - with the focus, as always, on making the cocktail as vibrant and refreshing as possible.

 
 

The Impact

 

When Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice debuted, it garnered raves and a new cocktail hit was born. The limited release gin was a summer brunch favorite until it was retired in 2021. But we’re hopeful it will return when we least expect it - like the McRib.
